Where is the villa?
The villa is an easy 20 minute drive (16km) from Nice airport
There are several car hire companies located at terminal 2 at Nice airport. The process of hiring and collecting a car at the airport is straightforward. A taxi from Nice costs about €50, although we would recommend having access to a car at the villa
To Vence village is 2 km
It is approximately 2km to the medieval village where there are many restaurants. It is walkable or takes a few minutes to drive and there are lots of parking places. There is also a free local bus service, running twice an hour, that takes 5 mins. There is a bakery (for morning croissants) and a chemist about 1km from the villa.
To Saint-Paul de Vence Village is 7 km
Saint-Paul has several lovely restaurants with stunning views of the coast, including the renowned La Colombe D'or. There are also several other beautiful, medieval villages within easy travelling distance such as Tourrettes sur Loup, Mougins, Grasse, Eze and Gourdon.

To Cycling routes
From the villa it is possible to cycle directly up into the hills, with stunning views of the local countryside with views of Vence and St Paul. It is then possible to cycle along the coast with fantastic views over Nice and Antibes out to the Mediterranean Sea. There is a local bike shop in Vence that will hire road bikes and electric bikes by the day.
